Stories About Decorated Teeth

I'm sure you've heard and watched something like this many times. It's the fashion of the moment maybe or an other mental desease, or this two toghether. Evetything is possible.

I have seen the "diamonds" applicated on the teeth of some girls. It is very nice, why not. They say, there are persons that do not applicate but incorporate the stones in their teeth. I think, it's not very healthy, but it's their choise.

I wanted to "investigate" about it and found that there are different "styles" of decorating teeth today. With gold, with other colors and with the diamonds (real too). And than I found very interesting articles in National Geographic.
So, I new that "nothing is new under the Moon":
May 18, 2009—The glittering "grills" of some hip-hop stars aren't exactly unprecedented. Sophisticated dentistry allowed Native Americans to add bling to their teeth as far back as 2,500 years ago, a new study says.(Nat.Geo.Photo on the bottom)
And not finished here!
"the remains are dated to between 2570 B.C. and 2322 B.C. The teeth show the earliest known evidence of dental modification in the Americas. " (Nat.Geogr.) What do you think did the dentists to that man? They did so that he could insert teeth of a jaguar or somebody else!!!

Do you think it was in use only in America?
No.
VIKINGS were fashinated of the teeth decoration too!!!! (Nat.Geogr.)
And you thought they were rude and similar to the animals. No, they loved to appear beautiful too!
