Mass Suicide Reasons

This photo about 24 stranged dolphins I found in an article written by Philip Hoare and published by DailyMail yesterday. There are many beautiful photos there and the article is very interesting too, but I thought about "highly intelligent" mammals, like humans, that have this interesting, I would say "artistic taste", for mass suicide.

I tell about foolish love for "pater of the nation", for "messiah", for everybody or everything.

There are interesting legends in Caucasus (many similar with different ends).
There were a boy and a girl that loved one other very much. They wanted to live together but their families would never accept it. So disperate youngs decided to suicide themselves. They went on the high rock and decided to jump down. The boy was the first an died. But the girl thought a little about it and turned home.

So, the girl THOUGHT.
Why a crow of similarly thinking persons (sometimes "highly intelligent") don't think? Even if they see their "messiah's" unequal behaviour. Like that 37 persons (4 children) burried in a cavern near Penza/Russia in spring when they waited for the end of the world. And many other cases.

How could "a survived member of the family" film it??? WHY???



Well, in this last case seems these persons were forced to commit suicide -after I've seen other parts.

Mobile Phone As A Mirror Of The Society

What is a mobile phone useful for? To call your friends? To make a photo of such a squirrel?
No. To study your behaviour model and to use this knowledge for different aims.

To say you if there is one of your friends in the same zone in this or that time.
Or to catch you if you are a criminal.
To track your children (or maybe your husband or your wife).
Or to plan traffic in a city.
Or prevent outbreaks of disease.

All this is possible if scientists (or others) will track our movements monitoring calls and SMS's for 3 months and create the map of our everyday life. It's enough to add some/a sensor in your phone.
Because the studies demonstrated that

-Most people also move less than 10km on a regular basis
-humans wander in an apparently random fashion, similar to a so-called "Levy flight" pattern displayed by many foraging animals.
-The vast majority of people move around over a very short distance - around five to 10km
-people tend to return to the same few places over and over again

Rich And Poor -To Pay Or Not To Pay

This is a theme that I find today in different "dimensions": the rich persons that don't want to pay anything they have to pay and the poor persons that pay everything they have to.

Yes, I have this experience too. Once I had 2 girls that visited me for private lessons. The girls were from different families. One was the daughter of my neighbour that was owner of her private law counseling firm, the mother of other worked in an office. I had not very high pay for hour even if it was high enough for a person like the mother of the second girl, but she paid me regularly. My neighbour did not want to pay. She said me always she has not so little sum that she had to give me. After about 6 month I had to send these girls home because I could not allow me to work without payment.

Now I received a letter from a good friend that organizes special meetings. He writes the same in his mail: the rich persons that want to visit these meetings don't want to pay them. These persons live in the most rich places of his city and have most high salaries. But they never want to pay the relatively little sums for rental room where the meetings take part. The most interesting is, writes my friend, that the poor persons that visit these meetings had always paid all the sum, that is too high for them, without asking about more low prices.

Now I read a report about Google Italy. They say, the company avoided to pay taxes for different (5) years that reached 240 millions of Euro.

Do you know, why rich are rich and poor are poor?

Finally At Home!

Yes, it's what I think from the moment I woke up this morning: Finally At Home! So like is written. Every word begins with a great letter. Finally some hours of my normally slowly-slowly lazy-lazy life.

May is a terrible month. There are too many things to do always. And first of all cherries, sure. Now we have the second part of pick up period. And the life is not so beautiful as when we worked with first cherries. Because these trees are very high and "uncomfortable". Every muscle had aches, the poor soul is trembling from the fear we have standing there in the summit of the trees.

I participated on the ritrit in Pozzuoli.
It was very good and interesting time, but to go there I had to wake up at 5 in the morning every day and to run for train coincidences. Sincerely I like it, but it's hard if you are not trained. I'll write some posts about it in "Vacation And Travel Talk" later.
But the first impression of that zone was bad. Because I found real mountains of stinking refuses letterally on every step.

Before I went in Pozzuoli, I had to organize an excursion in Nocera Superiore for our Archeological Group of Salerno. Our Director wanted to visit the Necropolis of Pizzone. The problem is that the Archeoclub of Nocera has not enough persons to have the monuments open as the Group of Salerno does. I told you that I go from time to time to open the museum. And the monuments in Nocea Superiore are always closed. So to have the Necropolis open for the excursion of our Group I had to learn everything was possible about it and to open it for all visitors. Imagine that I had only 2 days before ritrit for learning... And the "event" was the next morning after ritrit! Morning too!!! My dear god!!! I turned home at 11 in the night the day before...

At the end seems everything finished good with the excursion and with visits of all other persons. They said to be satisfied. Archeoclub of Nocera forgot about me the same day, but it's not important, even if they could say me at least some words. Surely they will remember me, when they need collaborations next time. Well, it's the life.

The best thing is that after these hurry periods I learn to appreciate my slowly and lazy life inside the nature. :)))

First of all, rentals are listed directly by owners. And it allows you to save money because the rental houses are far more economical than hotels. Than, the amenities far excel often those of the most hotels. And there are so many different accommodation choices, vacation homes and condos!
