Shopping In Salerno, Via Vittorio Emmanuele

We continue our walk through the shopping-streets of Salerno. In the first part I wrote about Via Mercanti that is the main shopping street in the old town.

Via Mercanti finishes with the square and continue in the same direction with via Vittorio Emmanuele.

You can see clearly the differences of 2 streets. This one is large and modern. Every time you see right in a side street you can see the sea (under the palms in the background of my photo). It is only about 10-20 meters far from here where we are now.

Same little shops -only the street is large.

Finally -about half an hour after we entered the old town- we reach the finish: the square of railway station of Salerno.

If we go now right, in the direction of sea, we will find other 2 main streets of Salerno that are shopping streets but they are dedicated to the vehicles too.

This is the first

And the second is the sea front. Very very beautiful. You can see it in my other posts about Salerno.
