It's Raining, It's Raining

It's raining, it's raining,
There's pepper in the box,
And all the little ladies
Are holding up their frocks.


Yes, it's about seasons, salt and pepper. About the king of spices and about "high table" Nobility.

To provide Europe with spices many men discovered the Earth. And with discoveres of many different peppers in America , not only in India, the "normal" people could probably buy some pepper for their pepper-boxes. So period of pepper in the boxes is period of abboundance.

Did you know that high Nobilty had higher tables where there was salt in center and little people had low tables and could not arrive to salt from their places and were "beneath the salt"?...

Eh... But I remember this song not for this storical notices. Today the second rain of this season took away all our street. There were alive parts after the first rain of 28/09, but this second rain
made the end with this street.
Tomorrow I'll try to do some photos if the weather will be good...
